Coming from South Africa where I adored open spaces, I have a passion for 'where land or water meets the sky'."

Leonard Long

The gallery has some works available for re-sale by the Australian artist Leonard Long.

On ANZAC Day 2011 Leonard Long celebrated his 100th birthday. Long is considered one of Australia's great post-war landscape artists. He spent many years painting the beauty of the Flinders Ranges and the majestic Shoalhaven region. Over many years he has inspired many other well known landscape artists and his works are highly valued by collectors.

The painting Morning in the Omeo Hills (bottom left) is a magnificent painting. It is vintage Leonard Long where the viewer is given the opportunity to appreciate the splendour, colour and beauty of the Victorian high country. It captures the grandeur of the region and benefits from being hung where it can be admired from a distance. The work was painted 18 years ago and exhibited then at the Wagner Gallery, Paddington. Currently priced at $7400, the owner will consider a reasonable offer. This painting can be viewed by appointment only at the Camden Civic Centre by contacting Nan Howard on 0419 431 854.

All other works shown are also for immediate sale.
