Ann Lamb
Ann has had a passion for painting and drawing and in particular the art of book illustration since her childhood.Her drawing skills were vastly improved through her career as a draughtswoman.Ann studied Art and Design at Wollongong TAFE obtaining both a certificate and post graduate certificate in 1988-89.
She has exhibited in many group shows and in 1999 had a most successful solo exhibition. On a number of occasions she won the “People's Choice” award in public art prizes.
She is a member of the prestigious Society of Miniature Art (NSW) Inc. and is a regular exhibitor in their shows.
Ann loves to portray in her work suburban happenings, seeking out the mad, the whacky and the humorous side of life.
In 2004 she wrote and illustrated a delightful book for young children “At the Vet” which is proving to be a most popular work and is currently writing a follow up book with some of the same characters.
