Sue Gasser is a self taught fourth generation artist who has a professional career spanning over twenty years and is a highly skilled pastel artist. She resides in the Blue Mountains; her subjects are the native fauna of the region and farm animals which resonate with a wide audience.
As an accomplished pastel artist, her work often receive recognition at the Sydney Art Awards. In 2013 her work was the overall winner of the Camden Art Prize and in many shows her work is widely admired, often receiving the additional ‘Viewers Choice Award’.
Her work is constantly in demand by collectors and is represented in galleries in Australia and overseas.
